All Riled Up

All Riled Up is actually a funny name since this quilt is for my sweetest neice (by far).

This time I ran the color lines horizontally. It is still quilted down the vertical zig zag lines with a walking foot.

Using up scraps from Blessings in Blue, Angels of Summer and Emeral Coast. Many of the longer pieces are actually where I squared up other quilts backs and kept the strips I cut off. There is also one of the paper pieced angels from the Blessings quilt that didn't make the cut.

So there are the 4 quilts that kept me busy in December. They are actually the only quilts I made in 2012 with all the uncertainty.

Now to get sewing for 2013. I have at least 2 weddings with the possibility for 4. Busy, busy.
